Technically, I have a music room, but I have so much sheet music, scores, reed and reed making supplies, a piano, instrument stands, cds of repertoire, excerpt books, music that Kerri left behind, old lieder (I don’t sing anymore), and a binding machine, that I can barely move around my music room. But most importantly, I own lots of instruments! The ones I own are:
- Piccolo/Flute/Alto Flute
- Tin Whistles (C, D)
- Recorders (Soprano, Alto, Tenor)
- Oboe/English Horn
- Eb Clarinet/C Clarinet
- Bb Clarinet/A Clarinet
- Low C Bass Clarinet
- ContraAlto (Eb) Clarinet
- Saxophones (Soprano, Alto, Tenor)
- Bassoon
My instrument collection is complete. I have recently upgraded my Bb clarinet to a brand-new R13, and it plays way better than the player. My other one started playing out-of-tune about a year ago, and apparently the top joint was no longer perfectly circular at the top. Since I needed (“needed“) a backup clarinet, I decided to splurge for a new one.
Sadly, I will be selling my wonderful bari sax. A chronic injury was continually being exacerbated by lugging Big Bertha around, and I stopped playing. Rather than have it just sit in a closet, I decided to sell it and let someone else enjoy her.
I also teach the woodwinds privately. If you are looking for a teacher contact me!
